What is Anodizing?
In the 1920's, aluminum found mass production and began to be widely used. It was durable, ductile, and most of all very light weight. Anodizing was invented thereafter to help it become even more durable. It also gave a means for adding color to the aluminum surface itself which was much more durable than paint because the anodize film was part of the aluminum itself.

Be sure and send your pieces to disassembled and only the pieces that you need anodized.

As part of the customer service there is no need to prep your pieces in any way. The buffing and pre-anodizing cleaning will be done for you. However, there will be an additional charge for pieces that need extensive buffing work.

CUSTOM POWDER COATING

Powder coating is when spraying charged powder particles on electrically grounded metal and then heated and fused into a smooth coating in a curing oven. This results in a uniform, durable, very high quality, and attractive finish that never rusts and holds up better than regular paint. There is a ton of different colors and styles to pick from (400 colors +, wrinkled, translucent, gloss to flat and flakes.
